Sempre is actually my favorite Italian on the Kingsway. Best balance of class and friendliness and price. There are several place whose food is probably better, but I don't feel comfortable the same way I do at Sempre.Their plates are relatively static, meaning they stick to what works and use the best ingredients possible. The kitchen is visible at the back, and is generally a three-person operation, plus 2 waitresses. You won't find many flashy one-time Chef's creations, but what you will find is delicious and well prepared and delivered with a smile.This is an excellent choice for a family meal, or a nice dinner with the wife.
